All our brothers and sisters know the small scroll prophesied in the Book of Revelation, but everyone has their own opinion when it comes to what the scroll refers to. Some people believe the small scroll refers to the Bible, but there are also some who believe: As it says in the Bible “And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
… And no man … was able to open the book, neither to look thereon” (Revelation 5:1–3), “Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof” (Revelation 5:5), it’s clear that the small scroll is sealed with seven seals, that the content of the scroll is not recorded in Revelation, and that no one can open it but the Lord returned. Since we read the Bible every day, how could it be the small scroll? So what does the small scroll actually refer to? How will it be opened? The Lord Jesus said, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12–13). The Lord prophesied that when He returns in the last days He will express His words and guide us into all truths. Now is the end of the last days.
